Potamus Labs designs and builds dependable software, embedded systems, and electronics—from the first useful prototype to a product ready for the real world.
What we build
We work where software meets hardware, keeping the system view intact instead of treating every discipline as a separate hand-off.
Purpose-built applications, services, APIs and internal tools with maintainable architecture and pragmatic delivery.
Firmware and connected systems designed with the physical product, timing constraints and field behaviour in mind.
Electronic concepts and prototypes that turn an idea into something tangible enough to test, learn from and improve.
Demos
Small public builds that show concrete interfaces, integrations and product ideas. Some are polished tools; some are deliberately narrow demonstrations of one useful path.
Simple web apps
Downloads saved blood-pressure readings from a Veroval BPM25 over USB in desktop Chrome or Edge, keeps the archive in the browser, exports CSV, and can optionally sync selected readings to Google Fit.
Full-stack products
A free recurring-expense tracker for subscriptions, memberships, bills and income. Moolance helps people see their monthly burn, pause or cancel wasteful spend, and watch projected savings climb without spreadsheet gymnastics.
How we work
Good products come from understanding the actual constraint, proving the risky parts early, and keeping decisions legible. We prefer working systems over impressive diagrams.
Start with the problem →Clarify the user, environment, interfaces and constraints before committing to a solution.
Build the smallest thing that can retire the biggest uncertainty and generate real evidence.
Turn what worked into a maintainable system with explicit trade-offs and sensible failure modes.
Get it into the real world, observe what happens, and improve from facts rather than assumptions.

Complex enough to matter.
Simple enough to understand.
Robust enough to ship.
